Who it is for. The TSR 9000 sits between the 6,000 lb UTV winches and the 13,500 lb truck winches, and that is exactly the gap heavier trailers and bigger side-by-sides fall into. Polaris Ranger and RZR, Can-Am and other full-size UTVs, twin-axle car trailers, plant trailers and lighter 4x4s: 9,000 lb pulls a loaded car onto a trailer in one line and still fits a UTV front plate.

Why this one. A 4.2 HP permanent-magnet motor through a 278:1 three-stage planetary gearbox gives controlled, steady line speed under load. The wired backup lead plugs the handset straight into the control box if the wireless ever lets you down. Free-spool clutch, in/out rocker on the handset, mode switch for wired or wireless.

Rope or cable? The red synthetic rope on the black body is the trailer and UTV choice: light, safe to handle, easy to see. The stealth black steel-rope version is for yard and plant use where the line is dragged over abrasive ground.
