OX 13500 lb Military Edition Winch, Black Body, Red Synthetic Rope

OX 13500 lb Military Edition Winch, Black Body, Red Synthetic Rope

Who it is for. The Military Edition is the 13,500 lb winch for the operator whose truck earns its living: daily recovery work, plant movers, farm and estate vehicles, and expedition builds that go a long way from help. Same 6.1-tonne pull as the standard OX 13500, with the internals uprated for the abuse that comes with being used every day.

What is different. Precision-machined, hardened steel planetary gears and heavier drive components; a refined housing with the sharp edges and snag points smoothed off; a fully sealed IP67 motor, gearbox and solenoid for water crossings, dust and mud; and a high-output series-wound motor that runs cooler on long pulls. It also ships with an OX neoprene cover, which the standard winch does not.

Rope or cable? Synthetic rope for roadside and vehicle recovery: lighter, floats, no splinters, no stored energy. Steel cable for yards, plant and anything that drags the line over concrete and rock.
